Design Features

Back Pull-Out with use of spacer coupling as standard for easy maintenance & repair. Optional universal joints to take care of potential misalignments (on unmachined Baseplates).

Casing

Top centre line discharge with rigid construction and available in different material combinations (Refer standard and optional material combinations) for high Corrosive and Erosive fluids. Suction and delivery flanges are standard ANSI B16.5 Class 150 available and DIN standards also.

Impeller

High efficiency, Non clog Semi open impeller with bull nose type for the fluid entry to ensure its smooth intake of solid particles. Designed with minimum number (2 to 3) of vanes to handle paper pulp & stock with larger solid sizes and in some cases with 4 vane as optional. Can handle solids ranging from 38mm to 95mm and medium consistency and in some cases to a high consistency range. High Consistency applications can be accommodated with the use of optional inducers fitted to the impellers.

Connecting Frame

Rigid 3 ribbed design opened at the downside for to avoid stagnation of water eminating from gland packing and remaining inside the rib and therefore avoids corrosion. Integrated pump end bearing cover with slots ensuring free flow of oil for lubrication.

    Stuffing Box with Gland Packing

  • Standard stuffing box with Gland Packing.
  • Oversized Parallel and Tapered Stuffing Boxes for Mechanical Seals and Dynamic Seals options available in order to maximize Gland Lubrication and/or Cooling.

Heavy Duty Shaft & Bearing

Rigid design, originally designed for 60Hz and withstand high radial and axial loads and for continuous service under the most severe operating conditions, with low deflection at maximum load - for longer seal and bearing life, and optimum performance.

Three shafts size and 6 different bearings covering all 12 pump sizes with 3 frames fitted with double row angular contact ball bearing at the drive end and spherical roller bearing at the pump end and lubrication of oil mist type with an option for grease.

External Impeller Adjustment

Impeller to suction side plate (wear plate) clearance can easily be reset by external adjustment in order to maintain hydraulic performance. Delivers long time energy savings, while down time is kept to a minimum.

With the use of shims between the drive-end bearing housing and the bearing frame, accurate axial movement of the impeller can be made (by up to 5mm), thereby optimizing the above mentioned impeller to suction wear plate clearance and maintaining pump performance (i.e., flow, head and efficiency) and maximizing Impeller Wear life.
